Step 3: When prompted, turn key
to “on” position without
starting your engine.
Stpep 4: Select the green check to
restore your vehicle and
start the engine.
Step 5: This process can take several minutes. Please do not unplug the tool
while the backup is being restored. Once the original backup has
successfully been loaded you will get a Write Complete message.
After restoring the original backup to your vehicle the inTune can now be
used on a different vehicle and is no longer married to the previous vehicle.
Step 6: It is now safe to unplug the inTune from your vehicle and start
the engine.
Important Note: This should be done prior to taking your vehicle in for service / maintenance.

Vehicle” from the
main menu
Step 2: From the
“Tune” menu
select “Restore
