Unfold and refold the paper when several sheets feed into the printer at
once.

Confirm that the unattached edge of the banner paper stack is on top and
facing the printer.
●
Verify that the correct paper for banner printing is used.
●
Verify that the Out tray extension is not extended.

Open the Page Setup dialog box and verify the following setting:

check the software

Verify that the software application you are using prints banners. Not all
software applications print banners.

If gaps appear at the ends of the sheets, verify that the printer software is
operating correctly.

The protective piece of plastic tape may still be attached to the print
cartridges. Verify that the plastic tape has been removed from the print
cartridges.

The print cartridges may be out of ink. Replace one or both empty print
cartridges.
●
The printer may be in direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can adversely affect the
Automatic Paper-Type Sensor. Move the printer out of direct sunlight, or
open the Print dialog box and select a paper-type or paper-group other than
Automatic .
