The Event column describes the action that took place. Logged actions could
include:
— Defining a new product
— Modifying product attributes
— Deleting product definitions
— Defining a new user
— Modifying user administration
— Deleting user administration
— Creating a zone set
— Modifying a zone set
— Modifying SNMP options

The Parameter column describes the parameter affected by the event. For
example, if a product is added or deleted, the product’s network address
displays as shown in
Note that the type of network address that displays—such as network IP
address or host name—is determined on a product-by-product basis according
to how the product is identified in the New Product dialog box.

The Source column identifies the workstation from which the user performed
the logged action. If the change was made locally from the HAFM server, the
HAFM server address displays.
High Availability Fabric Manager Event Log
The HAFM Event Log displays events or error conditions recorded by the HAFM
Services application. Entries reflect the status of the application and managed
switches or directors.
Information associated with a call-home failure is intended for use by
maintenance personnel to fault isolate the problem (modem failure, no dial tone,
etc.), while information provided in all other entries is generally intended for use
by third-level support personnel to fault isolate more significant problems.
The log stores up to 500 entries, the most recent displaying at the top of the log.
After 500 entries are stored, new entries take the place of the oldest entries.
