4. Open the DIMM slot latches.
5. Install the DIMM.
6. Install the server into the chassis (" Installing the server into the chassis " on page 22 ).
7. Connect the peripheral devices to the server.
8. Power up the server (" Powering up and configuring the server " on page 24 ).
Expansion board options
The server supports PCI, PCI-X, and PCI Express expansion boards.
Installing a low-profile expansion board
1. Power down the server (on page 17 ).
2. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3. Remove the server from the chassis (" Removing the server from the chassis " on page 17 ).
4. Remove the PCI riser cage.
