System requirements
This section describes client and server system requirements for HAFM.
HAFM appliance system requirements
The server running the HAFM application must meet the following requirements for Windows or
Solaris platforms. When setting up your HAFM appliance:
• Use the recommended configuration.
• To set up Call Home, follow the steps in ” Configuring Call Home notification ” on page 117.
• To backup, follow the steps in ” HAFM appliance backup ” on page 69.
NOTE: A maximum of eight clients are allowed per HAFM appliance.
NOTE: The HAFM appliance supports up to 48 HP directors or switches (managed products).
