Backing Up the Integrated Administration
Files to Diskette
When you back up the Integrated Administration files to diskette, the system stores
the files associated with the Extension Directory.
You should perform this procedure only when there is little or no traffic on the switch.
Have one to two diskettes to perform this backup.
To back up your integrated administration files to diskette, perform the following
steps:
1. At the Backup Files Menu, move the cursor to Integrated
Administration Backup to Diskette and press [ ENTER ↵ ].
The system displays the following message.
Confirm
IS III Integrated Administration Files Backup will save to
diskette the administrative files associated with the
Extension Directory.
Strike ENTER when ready
or ESC to stop.
2. Press [ ENTER ↵ ].
The system responds:
The backup will need one High Density (1.44M) 3.5” diskette.
The diskette will be automatically formatted prior to the backup.
Confirm
Insert diskette to be formatted
Strike ENTER when ready
or ESC to stop.
