33 Getting Started with Your Phone
The Battery
NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery
before initial use of the phone.
The phone comes with a rechargeable
battery. The battery charge level is
shown at the top right of the Home
screen.
Installing the Battery
1. Remove the battery from its
packaging.
2. Insert the battery into the battery
compartment in the back of the
phone. Make sure the connectors
align (see step 1 in the following
illustration).
3. Gently press down to secure the
battery (see step 2 in the following
illustration).
4. Position the back cover over the
battery compartment and press
down until you hear a click (see step
3 in the following illustration).
