¾ AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS
Your induction hotplate is designed with multiple automatic safety functions:
• Automatic cookware recognition: If you attempt to use an inappropriate cookware utensil you
will see an error message “E1” in the display. Once this error appears in the display the unit
will not operate until an appropriate utensil is used.
• Automatic Timeout: If no function key is pressed or the cookware utensil is not moved within
150 minutes (2½ hours), the hotplate will turn off automatically.
• Cookware overheating protection: If the temperature of the cookware exceeds the maximum
limit, the hotplate will turn off automatically. This function also prevents burning when
roasting/browning foods. To prevent this, reduce the temperature or put a little cold water in
the cookware to maintain the temperature within the operating range.
