REMOVE OLD INDEX
1 Use a large screwdriver to puncture and remove tamper plugs if they are present
2 Use a large screwdriver to remove and discard the four (4) mounting screws and the cover See
Figure 2

3 Remove and discard the gasket See Figure 3

OTEE: N Use a putty knife to clean the meter surface of all gasket remnants that might limit the effectiveness of the
new gasket
4 Use a small screwdriver to remove the index See Figure 4 Discard the two (2) screws Place the index to the side for
use later
