Proceed as follows to activate the FRIEND’S HELMET:
Press (LONG) the ON and •
+
buttons simultaneously, you will hear four
high-pitched tones of confirmation.
The helmet tries cyclically to connect with one of the friends’ helmets in the list
with an increasingly slower frequency in order to maximize the duration of the
batteries. The search places the priority on the first friend’s helmet on the list.
When connected to one of the friends’ helmets it takes priority over the others
until the communication is voluntarily interrupted.
If the distance (or the road and environmental conditions) between the two hel-
mets becomes such that communication is interrupted, the kit tries to reconnect
automatically for about 3 minutes. In the case of failure, the SCS kit, through
a sequence of low- and high-pitched tones, connects through a phone call is
this has been authorized through the appropriate box in the configurator (see
the software instructions on the CD supplied). This call is made through the
Bluetooth® mobile phone if previously connected to the helmet.
The phone number is entered through the configuration software.
If the helmets meet again, repeat the activation to reconnect.
