• Weighing the product going into the tank will ensure
greater accuracy.
Rate Check tips:
• Initial tank level check
should be done after
metering some product
so a V-formation forms
inside the tank. This will
make for more accurate
tank level check.
• Use attached operator worksheets for keeping important
information documented ie; cal weights, seeding rates,
gearbox settings etc.
• For low rate products (Under 10/lb/ac) ie; Canola - Do a
Rate Check with 2 x 50lb bags seed until empty, add
two more bags and repeat Rate Check procedure.
Repeating the procedure increases the accuracy of the
Rate Check.
