Vertical Instruction
1. Put four “AA” alkaline batteries
into the instrument or power
the instrument by connecting
DC 6V through power jack.
2. Put the instrument on platform
or a 5/8" –11 tripod.
3. Adjust the leveling-knob to center
the bubble of vial in Z axis.
4. Turn the instrument on and then start
operation.
5. Turn off the unit after operations.
Slope Instruction
The slope function is available when
the instrument is in the horizontal
position. The operating details are
shown as follows:
1. Put the instrument on a
platform or tripod.
2. Aim the Y-axis of the instrument
in the desired slope direction.
