In the “Control Panel” double click the “Power Options” icon to display the “Power
Options Properties” as shown on the right screen.
Power Scheme
In setting your power options, click on the “Power Scheme” tab to select the power
scheme most appropriate for you in using your computer.
Settings for Portable/Laptop power scheme
Under this item you are allowed to set the time setting for the system to enter the stand by
mode whether you are operating the system by battery or AC power source.
Turn off monitor/hard disks
Under this item you are allowed to set the time setting for the system to enter the stand by mode
whether you are operating the system by battery or AC power source.
System Stand by/Hibernates
Under this item, you are also allowed to set the time setting for the system to enter standby mode.
Power Meter
Click on the “Power Meter” tab to display the type pf power source you are using to
operate your Mobile PC computer.

Batteries

This indicates the Mobile PC
is operated with battery
Current power source:

AC power
98%
This indicates the Mobile PC
is operated with an AC power
source.
If the battery charge drops below a certain voltage level, a beeping sound will prompt you
to save your work and turn off the computer, or connect the AC adapter. The message is :
