1 BEFORE PROCEEDING
WARNING: Read all the instructions completely before
proceeding. Price Pfister recommends calling a professional
if you are uncertain about installing this product!
This product should be installed in accordance with all local
and state plumbing and building codes.
2 SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY
Locate water supply inlets and shut off the water supply
valves. These are usually found under the sink or near the
water meter. If you are replacing an existing faucet, remove
the old faucet from the sink and clean the mounting surface
thoroughly.
3 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
If operating pressures exceed 5 BAR (~75 PSI), the use
of a pressure reducer is recommended. Before proceeding
with the assembling, we advise to clean the hot and cold
water tubes, in order to avoid build-up of dirt that could
compromise the functioning of the valve.
4 VALVE INSTALLATION (Fig.A)
For Center Hole (1) on plaster wall, use the edges from
Plaster Guard (2) to inscribe Cutting Edges (3). Cut Cen-
ter Hole (1) along inscribed lines, as shown. The Depth
is measured from center of Valve Body (4) to finished wall
surface (5) is 1 13/32" min. to 2 7/16" max. The Tub Spout
Hole (6) and Shower Outlet Holes (7) are to be 1 1/4”
diameter.
5 VALVE INSTALLATION (Fig.B&C)
Take out the Plastic Caps (1) with the help of a flat
screwdriver. Place the Valve Body (2) into the wall, with
the Shower Outlet (3) facing the up. Body inlets (4&5) and
outlets (3&8) are designed to accommodate 1/2-14 NPT
pipe. Connect the Hot Water Supply (4) to the Left Inlet
and the Cold Water Supply (5) to the Right Inlet. Connect
Shower (6) and Tub (7) Outlet Pipes to Valve Body (2).
Connect Pipe Elbows (9) (not included) to ends of both
pipes.
WARNING: When attaching threaded fittings, use
thread sealant or PTFE Plumber’s tape according to
manufacturer’s instructions.
CAUTION: When using iron pipes, it is not recommended
to reduce outlet pipe diameter.
CAUTION: For Copper Sweat joints, it is important
to remove Valve Cartridge and other Plastic Components
