7. A total of four (4) 14X10 2” screws must be fastened to the center truss completely snug to the sheathing and fully into the
truss. To fully penetrate the truss, it may be necessary to drill the fastener into the truss at an angle.
8. Once all four (4) of the center fasteners are properly attached, then the outside of the cleat (feet) must be secured to the
sheathing and truss. Use two (2) 14X10 2” screws on each side of the center truss.
Make sure that the fasteners are snug up against the base of the cleat and fully penetrate the truss. Space the
fasteners as indicated in the image.
