ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION EXPSOURE: WARNING: Metal halide lamps can cause skin burn and eye inflammation from
shortwave ultraviolet radiation if the outer envelope of the lamp is broken or punctured. Do not use where people will remain for more than a
few minutes unless adequate shielding or other safety precautions are used.
III. LAMP
INSTALLATION
a. Disconnect
Wobblelight
®
from power source and turn off switch.
b. Allow dome and lamp to cool completely.
c. Remove
the
Wobblelight
®
dome / cap assembly by removing the five mounting screws.
d. Screw lamp firmly but not forcibly into socket in order to avoid breakage.
e. Tighten bulb until it is secure in the socket – do not over tighten.
f. Reinstall
the
Wobblelight
®
dome / cap assembly by aligning the five mounting holes with the five mounting nuts (note the dome handle should be
aligned with the power switch).
g. Re-install the five mounting screws – do not over tighten.
IV.
BROKEN ARC-TUBE: Take care in handling and disposing of metal halide lamps. If arc-tube is broken, avoid skin contact with any of the contents
and fragments. See manufacturer’s Material Safety Data Sheet for further details.
LAMP CONTAINS MERCURY: Manage in accordance with all applicable disposal laws. See
OPERATING NOTE: Metal halide lamps may require up to 60 seconds to initially start from cold condition, and another 6-8 minutes to achieve full brightness.
Metal halide lamps which are shut off and then turned back on while still hot may require 5-10 minutes to restart.

fixture.
Dome / cap assembly.
Bulb (400-watt metal halide)
Dome screw packet containing five (5) screws (1/4” x 5/8” Phillips button-head sheet metal screw).
