6.3.2 IDE Configuration
Use the IDE Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 4) to change and/or set the configuration
of the IDE devices installed in the system.
BIOS Menu 4: IDE Configuration
ATA/IDE Configurations [Compatible]
Disabled Disables the on-board ATA/IDE controller.
Compatible D EFAULT Configures the on-board ATA/IDE controller to be in
compatible mode. In this mode, a SATA channel will
replace one of the IDE channels. This mode supports
up to 4 storage devices.
Enhanced Configures the on-board ATA/IDE controller to be in
