3. Use a small flat screw driver to
attach the other end of the
bracket, while firmly holding down
the heatsink and fan assembly.
The middle hook of the bracket
snaps in place if you properly
attached the two ends.
4. As shown, the middle hook of the
bracket snaps in place if you
properly attached the two ends.
5. Do steps 2 to 4 to install the other
bracket.
6. When the heatsink and fan
assembly is in place, connect the
fan cable to the fan connector on
the motherboard labeled
CPUFAN1 (for the CPU on socket
1) and CPUFAN2 (for the CPU on
socket 2).
Don’t forget to connect the
CPU fan cable. Hardware
monitoring problems may
occur if you fail to plug the
cable.
