Installation Instructions
OWNER/USER RESPONSIBILITIES: It is the responsibility of the contractor, installer, buyer, owner and user to install, maintain and operate this
luminaire in accordance with all applicable laws, building codes, regulations and local Electrical Safety Authority requirements. This product is only
to be installed by a qualified person.
WARNING
• Shut OFF power at fuse box or circuit breaker before installation.
• Turn power OFF before inspection or removal of LED light source.
Installation:
1. Pull on LED Trim Ring in direction shown to remove LED light
source from housing. Flip open one lever on each Wire Lever
Nut to disconnect wires.
2. Extend bar hangers to fit between joists. Bar hanger foot aligns
with bottom of joist. Hammer pre-installed nails into joists.
When installing in drywall, cut 4-1/2” hole. If necessary, adjust
fixture for ceiling thickness by loosening hex screws then re-
tighten.

Remove Junction Box cover. Remove appropriate knock-out
and insert strain relief (not supplied) into hole. Flip open
Wire Lever Nut. Connect Class 2 constant current source:
Connect +Ve to RED. Connect –Ve to BLACK, by inserting
stripped wire into Wire Lever Nut. Close lever. OBSERVE
CORRECT POLARITY. Failure to do so will damage LED light
source. Replace Junction Box cover.
4.
Re-connect LED light source to housing. Connect RED to RED,
BLACK to BLACK. OBSERVE CORRECT POLARITY. Failure to do
so will damage LED light source. Compress Flat Spring Clips
with fingers and insert into housing opening. Press upwards
until trim ring is flush against the ceiling.
