This is the main lead going to the Bus.
It may come from the Master Switch
Contactor or the Starter Solenoid.

Master Switch Contactor or the Starter
Solenoid.

Note: The VA-1A (or shunt) may
be installed before or after any
reverse current diode. Although,
it is preferred to install it after the
reverse current diode as shown.

3. Determine how the VA Unit will be installed

Reverse Current Diode.

(Some aircraft do not have this diode)
