Disassemble the blender support: carefully

take the blade compartment out of the

blender support (

Fig. 8). See also “Easier

method of handling the glass container”.

Carefully remove the sealing ring from the

blade compartment (

Fig. 9). Blades are very

sharp!

Disassemble the cover: take the funnel out

of the filler tube in the lid and remove the

lower part of the lid (

Fig. 10).

Clean the blender jug, individual parts of the

lid as well as the blender support in the

dishwasher or with normal household

detergent.

Clean the blade compartment and sealing

ring with a brush under running water only.

Detergent will impair the bearing lubrication.

Wipe the motor block with a damp cloth and

dry.

Re-assemble in reverse sequence.

If using the plastic blender jug, tighten the

blender support as far as the mark (

Fig. 11g)!

Easier method of handling the glass container

Empty the glass container (

Fig. 11a).

Take hold of the glass container by the

handle, press down and rotate in an

anti-clockwise direction until the blender

support is released (

Fig. 11b).

Remove the glass container and mixer

support together and then dismantle

(

Fig. 11c–d).

Re-assemble in reverse sequence.

If any other faults occur, contact customer

service.

Recipes

The blender is suitable for

– blending and frothing liquids,

– cutting and chopping raw fruit, vegetables,

nuts and chocolate,

– puréeing soups, cooked fruit and

vegetables,

– preparing mayonnaise and sauces.

Mayonnaise

Note: Mayonnaise can be prepared in the

blender with whole eggs only.

Basic recipe:

1 egg

1 heaped tsp. mustard

1 tbs. vinegar or lemon juice

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of sugar

200–250 ml oil

Ingredients must be at the same temperature.

Switch on the blender at low speed.

Process the ingredients (except the oil) at low

speed for several seconds.

Switch the blender to maximum speed,

slowly pour the oil through the funnel and

blend for approx. 1 minute.

Maximum quantity: Double the quantity of the

basic recipe.

Hot chocolate

50–75 g cooled cooking chocolate

½ l hot milk

Whipped cream and grated chocolate as

required

Cut the cooking chocolate into pieces

(approx. 1 cm) and chop up completely

in the blender at maximum speed.

Switch off the blender and add the milk

through the funnel.

Blend for 1 minute at maximum speed.

Pour the hot chocolate into glasses and

serve with whipped cream and grated

chocolate as required.

Banana ice shake

2–3 bananas

2–3 heaped tbs. vanilla or lemon ice cream

2 packet of vanilla sugar

½ l milk

Cut up bananas for 5–10 seconds.

When the blender has come to standstill,

add milk and ingredients and blend for

approx. 1 minute.
