9.2 Reset
Malfunctioning in the logic of the device (conflicting symbols on the
display, functions do not work, etc.) is an unlikely event which could be
caused by an external temporary reasons. For example, anomalies
in the current supply during recharging of the batteries can set the
transceiver to operate in the wrong manner. In this case, you can
reset the transceiver to factory settings. This procedure cancels all
personalised options you have previously set:
1) Turn off the transceiver.
2) Keep both
+ and – pressed and switch on the radio. All symbols
on the display light up for about two seconds and an audio tone
confirms resetting has taken place.
3) Release
+ and – buttons. The device will now have all the original
settings, for example the transceiver automatically selects number
1 channel, it uses higher power of transmission, etc.

Before carrying out reset, make note of all customised options
previously carried out, as these will be cancelled.
