Introduction:
This manual, the VHPC-2200 Metering Pump Manual, provides information you need
to perform simple maintenance and repair on your equipment.
Step-by-step assembly and disassembly procedures are included for each
component.
Please read the manual carefully. Follow the steps in the order given, otherwise you
may damage the equipment or injure yourself.
DANGER: Always wear proper safety equipment, including eye protection and
gloves when performing service and repair on this equipment.
This manual covers the repair of the VHPC-2200 Series Metering Pump assemblies:
• VHPC-2200 Metering Pump Assembly
• VHPC-2200-ADH Metering Pump Assembly – Adhesive units
• VHPC-2200-HIS Metering Pump Assembly
• VHPC-2200-MLM Metering Pump Assembly – Mini Link units
• VHPC-2200-COOK Metering Pump Assembly
During Note: Some parts and part numbers will be different between the different
Metering Pump Assemblies – it is important to have a current parts drawing for
the Pump assembly you are working on.
Disassembly . . .
As you disassemble the equipment, layout the components in the correct order and
direction. This will help you to reassemble them. Also have a current parts drawing to
reference during repair.
Tools needed for removal and repair of pump.
• Bench Vise
• 1-3/4 wrench (44.5 mm), adjustable or open end
• 1-3/8 wrench (35 mm), adjustable or open end
• Medium size adjustable wrench (8”) or full set of open end wrenches
• 5/64” Allen wrench or rod
• Flat head screw driver
• Straight scribe.
