Pump Disassembly:
Warning: Never use any type of grease or lubricants on metering pump or
fittings. Clean parts in distilled water or appropriate solvent if using a hardener
other then catalyst. Lay parts on clean paper towels that will be reused.
Note: Do not remove Fitting body (PAT-CP-0505) from Outlet body. It is also
recommended the catalyst jug and screens are cleaned using distilled water. Cut off
½” on the end of ½” poly tubing feed hose which attaches to the metering pump inlet
fitting to avoid leaks.
1. Loosen the Jam Nut (PAT-CP-1518) from the Inlet Body (PAT-CP-1502) and
then un-screw the Inlet Body from the Outlet Body (PAT-CP-1503).
2. Un-screw the plastic retaining nut from the Outlet Body (PAT-CP-1503).
3. Pull the Ball Joint Linkage and Fluid Rod (PAT-CP-1508) up through the top of the
Outlet Body (PAT-CP-1503). Remove the Ball Joint Linkage from the Fluid Rod
(PAT-CP-1508) and slide the two Cup Seals (PAT-CP-1501) and Leak Spacer (PAT-
CP-1507) from the fluid rod.
4. Remove the Seal Retainer and Piston Seal from the Piston Body. Remove the
Piston Body, Ball (9201-1-7) and Spring (04013-1) from the Piston Body and
Fluid Rod (PAT-CP-1508).
5. Remove the Inlet fitting and Outlet fitting.
6. Remove from Inlet Body (PAT-CP-1502), Ball (9201-1-14) and O-ring (O-S-018).
A scribe will be needed to remove the Ball Seat O-ring (O-F-110).
Wash all parts to be reused with distilled water - appropriate solvent if using a hardener
other then catalyst. Inspect the Fluid Rod and Cylinder for wear.
