TORQUE TABLE

BOLT SIZE: 3/8” = 20-30 ft. lbs. – 7/16” = 35-45 ft. lbs. – ½” = 50-70 ft. lbs. – 9/16” = 70-90 ft. lbs.

SAFETY:

BEFORE STARTING YOUR INSTALLATION, BE SURE TO SET PARKING BRAKE AND

CHOCK TIRES.

NOTE:

TO EASE INSTALLATION AND TO PROPERLY ADJUST BAR, THE WEIGHT OF THE

VEHICLE MUST BE ON THE SUSPENSION, AS IF DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD.

DO NOT RAISE VEHICLE BY FRAME

.

NOTE:

THIS FRONT SWAY BAR IS DESIGNED TO MOUNT ON THE FRONT CROSSMEMBER

WITH THE ARMS FACING THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE.

1. Install the D-shaped poly bushings on the sway bar in as close a mounting position as

in photo one ( 1 ).

2. Install the frame mounting brackets using the short square U-bolts and mounting

hardware provided on the vehicles crossmember.

See photos one ( 1 ) and two ( 2 ).

Leave loose at this time to allow for adjustment later.

3. Install the end link hanger brackets on the vehicles frame as in photo ( 3 ). Using the

long square U-bolts ( pointing towards the vehicles body ) tighten using the hardware
provided.

Leave loose at this time to allow for adjustment later.

4. Raise the sway bar up to the sway bar hanger brackets mounted on the vehicles

frame. Install the U-plates over the D-bushings with ( 1/2” ) flat washers and nuts
provided.

Again leave loose at this time to allow for adjustment.

5. Assemble the end link assemblies as in photo ( 3 ) on the arms of the sway bar. Raise

the sway bar arms up to the mounted bracket on the frame. Finish the end link
assembly. Tighten just slightly that the poly bushings start to bulge. ( Do not over
tighten or damage can occur to the poly bushings).

6. With the sway bar properly align on the vehicles crossmember and the end links are

straight up and down. Torque all mounting hardware to the specified rates.

7. Re-check your installation make sure that any of the mounting hardware will not

damage any wires, hoses etc..

INSTRUCTION SHEET, ALL IMPORTANT NOTE CARDS,

WARNING CARDS AND THE WARRANTY FORM.
