1. Be sure that the vehicle is on a flat hard surface, use tire blocks and safety stands.
2. Place the Helper Spring behind rear axle below main spring as per photo one (1). Install Helper spring so
that the scarfed end is pointing down as shown in photo two (2),
3. Locate and install the top spring bracket on top of spring so that the hook engages u-bolt plate as shown in
photo two (2). Install the 5-hole plate on the bottom of the helper spring as in PHOTOS (2 & 3). Fasten
using the shorter U-bolts and nuts and tighten to 50 ft-lb. Double nut and tighten lock nuts in place.
4. Install the polyurethane pad on the end of the Helper Spring and between the vehicle spring and helper. In-
stall the polyurethane block with the tall section between the main spring and helper for initial adjustment.
If more lift is desired, rotate the block and use the short section. Use the long U-bolts and crossbars and in-
stall as in Photo (4). Tighten to 60 ft-lb and double nuts to lock in place.
5. Check your installation for clearance to fuel and brake lines, hoses, and wires etc.. Test drive your vehicle
and recheck your installation. Recheck on a monthly regular basis thereafter.
