Instructions
1.
Connect to isolated battery terminals only
2.
Make good connection RED +, BLACK -
3.
All LEDs should indicate in sequence before commencing test
4.
Provided power is available in battery under test, a flashing YELLOW LED will indicate
battery load test in progress
5.
Latched RED LED indicates battery under test has failed
6.
Latched GREEN LED indicates battery under test has passed
7.
If required, test twice in succession only to simulate a 3 hour load test, leaving 30%
minimum capacity available in the battery
NOTE: When flashing RED LED indicates, allow battery tester 5 minutes to cool down
IMPORTANT: Only use test leads provided (Part: CD4000TL) Replace polarity protection fuse
with 10Amp blade type only

Luminaire Battery Tester
Take minutes not hours to test luminaire batteries used in stand-alone
emergency lighting systems. The CD4000 performs 1 and 3 hour duration
tests in minutes on 2.4V - 12V rechargeable Lead-acid, Lithium-ion, Nickel-
cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride batteries.
