NEULOG SURFACE TEMPERATURE SENSOR GUIDE
The surface temperature uses a partially exposed thermistor to rapidly detect
temperature changes of surfaces compared to other thermometers which require the
outer protective layer to change temperatures first. Temperature changes in the
thermistor’s wires act as variable resistance which is directly measured. When more
heat is present the wires are slowed at a greater rate. The amount of resistance is
rapidly measured and converted into a temperature readout almost instantaneously
.
