Remote Wiring – Solid State Control
This unit is designed for remote control. We have supplied the wire to connect
the main water chiller control panel to the remote panel. Make sure you connect
the numbers to each terminal block. The thermocouple wire is a special wire
and cannot be spliced to other types of wiring. The main control panel has pilot
lights that indicate if the system is runni
ng.
Head Pressure Control Valve
A head pressure control valve has been installed in this unit. The head pressure
control allows the unit to be installed outdoors. Disregard any other references in
this manual that refers to outdoor installation. This control measures the high
pressure of the refrigeration system. When this pressure drops below the set
point on this control, the valve will open and this will cause the contactor to open.
This control will close on the pressure rise. You may want to reset this control to
meet your weather conditions.
