proper rotation. The water pump switch must be on in order to check rotation of fan
motor. The refrigeration system will not run unless the water pump switch is in the
on position.
8. Set the temperature controllers to the desired temperature. If you want to stage
each refrigeration system set at 2
0
temperature difference between the two
temperature controllers. For example, if you want 48
0
F chilled water then set the
No. 1 thermostat at 48
0
F, and the No. 2 thermostat at 50
0
F. If the 1st stage can
not maintain 48
0
F then the 2nd stage would start when the water temperature
reaches 50
0
F. If the temperature is set below 38
0
F, antifreeze must be added to
the water return line. Never add more antifreeze than necessary, because it is a
poor conductor of heat. Industrial antifreeze only.
9. With the temperature controller set, the compressor can be turned on by the
manual switch. The refrigeration system is now running. Once set, the temperature
controller will control the temperature of the water automatically.
10. This unit is not weatherproof and should not be installed outdoors. Outdoor
installation is possible in some areas of the country. Please check with the factory
for more information.
INSTRUCTION FOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL
This unit has a solid state temperature controller. Once the temperature is set, the unit
will cycle on and off. The one display will indicate chilled water discharge, while the
other display will indicate return temperature. There is a built-in time delay in the
controller.
