You may have as many tries at the formula as you can in the 30 seconds
allowed. In between each try press the ENT key. If your last try is still
on the screen at the end of the Countdown sequence the unit will
automatically accept it as an answer and validate it in the normal way.
At the end of the Countdown sequence the unit will say out loud “Time is
up” and the formula is checked by the computer, a score awarded (if
any) and this score is shown by the following display:-
