Transparent Bird Gel Installation Instructions
Transparent Bird Gel - a sticky non-toxic gel used to keep pest birds off of flat surfaces. The Bird Gel creates a
sticky surface that birds cannot stand, and is effective for pigeons and starlings.

Ledges I-Beams
Parapet Walls Conduit
Pipes Flat or Curved Surfaces
Specifications:
Ž Non toxic, safe for humans and animals
Ž Bird Gel comes in standard 10 oz caulking tubes, 12 tubes per case
Ž Each tube covers 10 feet x 3 inches wide
Ž Each Case covers a total of 120 feet!
Ž Effective at wide temperature range: 15F – 200F
Ž Gel will last up to 6 months outdoors
Installation:
Ž Transparent Bird Gel comes in a standard 10 oz caulking tube,
and requires a caulking gun for application.
Ž Before applying, the surface should be cleaned and dry, with no loose debris.
Ž Apply the gel in a “zigzag” pattern about 3” long leaving periodic spaces for water drainage.
Ž Do not use bird gel where
birds have been nesting
Ž Bird Gel is only to be used on flat surfaces.
Ž Put painter’s tape down to protect surfaces.
Clean-up / Removal:
To remove the bird gel, use mineral spirits, a solvent
that can be found at most local hardware stores.
