4.4 Scanning
Cm
Indicates you are currently using the metric system.
You can switch to the British system by clicking the
Cm abbreviation. The two systems represent a
toggle switch.
Prescan:
Previews your image roughly and allocates the area
to be scanned.
Scan:
Scans the area with the parameters you have set.
Cancel:
Cancels the current job.
As shown in the illustration below, in the Preview window, you
can define the area to be scanned by dragging the cursor auxiliary
lines.
