Grinding
Examples of food that can be ground:
Coffee beans
Nuts without the shells
Various spices
1.
Place the ingredients into the low cup (no more than 100g).
2.
Attach the flat blade to the low cup and secure by twisting it anti-clockwise.
3.
Attach the low cup with the flat blade attachment to the Power Base Unit
aligning the 3 notches and turn it in a clockwise direction until you hear a
locking sound.
4.
Plug the machine into the electrical socket ensuring the power switch is set
at “0”.
5.
Switch the electrical supply on and select speed 2 and grind for 30 seconds.
6.
When the grinding has finished, turn the speed setting back to “0”.
7.
Turn the switch of the electrical supply off and remove the cord from the
electrical supply.
8.
Remove the low cup from the base unit. Remove the flat blade attachment.
Please note: Do not grind hard food such as bones, cheese etc.
Cleaning
Always switch the appliance off before beginning cleaning.
Please note that the accessories included with the smoothie maker are not
dishwasher safe. Wash all accessories by hand with a mild detergent and
warm water, rinse and dry thoroughly before storage.
Do not immerse the motor unit in water or liquid. Wipe the motor unit with
a damp cloth.
