• During or after Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA),
Retin-A®, topical retinoid or azelaic acid treatments.
• In the six months following Accutane® (isotretinoin) treatment.
• In the following three months following steroid treatment.
• In the event of past history of herpes in the treatment area, unless a
doctor was consulted and prophylactic measures were taken before and
after use.
• In the event of doubts on the possibility of using the appliance, consult
your doctor or dermatologist.
possIBle sIde eFFecTs
Side effects and complications arising from the use of the appliance are rare if
the instructions are complied with. However, every cosmetic procedure,
including those intended for domestic use, involves a certain level of risk. This
is why it is important to understand and accept the risks and complications that
can occur while using energy systems intended for domestic use. Treatments
with this appliance are generally well tolerated. Most users feel moderate heat
transmitted by the appliance during use, without particular discomfort.
• Minor skin irritation
The skin can get slightly irritated after the use of the appliance, but it is a
typical and temporary phenomenon. If the irritation does not disappear
within three days, consult your doctor or dermatologist.

The skin can become red after the treatment. The redness should
disappear within a few hours.
