How to determine the current release?

CBS\Server2008R2\UpdateDB\CheckVersion
\SQL
Database System release is running if your
system uses a Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2
database.
CBS\Server2008R2\UpdateDB\CheckVersion
\Express
Database System release is running if your
system uses a Microsoft SQL server 2008 R2
Express Edition database.
Copy the relevant folder to the serves desktop
Open the folder on the desktop.
Double-click the file CheckVersion.cmd
A new document, Version.txt is created in the folder
Open this document
The database release is shown, see the arrow in the image to
the right.
Make a note of the database version..
Close the document and delete the entire folder.
