Setting up
If the SBF15 is to be mounted at height, use the integral bracket and fix a safety wire to the eyebolt (7)
The SBF15 can be free-standing on the floor or stable surface using the dual bracket as a bipod stand.
Position the SBF15 so that the front aperture is facing the area to be lighted.
Be careful not to aim the LEDs directly into eyes, as this can cause damage, especially at close range.
Experiment with positioning to get the best coverage – the SBF15 provides wide angle light dispersion.
Connect mains using an appropriate IEC lead to the mains inlet (8)
For DMX operation, connect DMX from a controller or preceding fixture to the DMX in connector (1).
Connect additional fixtures further along in the DMX chain from the DMX out connector (3).
Ensure that good quality DMX leads with 3-pin XLR connectors are used.
Operation
The SBF15 has 3 high output white LED strips, which can produce one of 4 different effects.
1. Chase 1-2-3
Sequence of each LED left to right with variable speed
2. Strobe effect
Short duration flashes
3. Blinder effect
Pulses with slow fade-out to simulate pyrotechnics or silhouette blinders
4. Flood light
Dimmable constant wash of white light
The SBF15 can be operated via internal programs or from a DMX signal (4ch) using the control panel.
Press the FUNC button and navigate the menus using UP, DOWN and ENTER buttons as shown below.
