1� PowerOFFthecomputer,themonitor,
andallotherperipheraldevices
connectedtoyourcomputer�
2� Unplugthecomputerpowercordfrom
yourcomputerandpoweroutlet�
3� Touchthemetalbackorsidepanelof
thecomputertoavoidstaticelectricity�
4� Removethechassiscover�
5� RemovethemetalbracketfromanavailablePCIslotfortheXonarHDAV
Slimcard�
6� CarefullyinserttheXonarHDAVSlimcardintothePCIslot�Ensurethe
XonarHDAVSlimcardsitsproperlyinplace�
7� SecuretheXonarHDAVSlimcardwithscrewsormetalbrackets�
Connecting to a discrete graphics card and an HDMI display device:
1� Installadiscretegraphicscardonyourmotherboard�
2� UsingthebundledDVI-to-HDMIcable,connecttheDVIOutportofthe
graphicscardtotheHDMIInportoftheXonarHDAVSlimcard�
IfyouareusinganHDMIgraphicscard,connectyourgraphicscardwiththe
XonarHDAVSlimcardusingtheHDMIcablethatcomeswithyourgraphics
cardpackage�
