1. Insert the microSD card into the adapter.
2. Insert the adapter with the microSD card into the SD card
slot ( ) on the right side of the device when the device is
switched off or when the device is in sleep mode.
3. Switch the power ON ( ) to turn on the device, or press the
sleep mode button ( ) to wake up the device.
4. From the main screen, tap Navigation and follow the screen
instructions.

Note
If you turn on or wake up the device without inserting the
microSD card into the card slot, when tap Navigation
from the main menu, a “Map initialisation error” message
appears: couldn’t find any map files!. Follow step 1 to
insert the microSD card into the card slot, tap OK from the
error message to go back to the main menu, and then tap
Navigation.
