For the automatic connection to take place between ESD1 and ESD2, the proper operation mode of
ESD1 and ESD2 have to be set.

Set the operation mode of ESD2 to Mode1.

Remove the ESD2 from the host computer and plug ESD1 into the serial port again. Set the operation
mode of ESD1 to Mode2.
