Programming the board with the remote control
You can program the display with the included remote control or through your computer. See
"Programming the board with the computer software" for details.
First message
To type a message:
1. Connect the message board to a power supply using the included cable.
2. On the remote, press Q-PROG.
3. Type HELLO using the keys on the remote.
If you type a wrong character, press DEL to delete the last character.
4. Press ENTER.
The message appears on the display.
Display the time and date
1. Press TIME/DATE to display the time and date message only.
2. Press ESC to cancel time/date display function.

Alternate characters: lower case, digits and symbols
To display a lower case letter, a digit or a symbol, you need to change the keyboard mode + shift key.
The symbol on the display indicates what mode is currently active.
Uppercase
White symbols on the keys (numbers, symbols)
Lowercase
Green symbols on the keys (symbols)
1. Press Q-PROG.
2. Type one or more characters.
3. Press SHIFT.
The lower case mode is now active.
4. Type one or more characters.
5. Press SHIFT.
The numerical mode is now active.
6. Type one or more characters.
7. Press SHIFT.
The symbol mode is now active.
