System
1.
Select the channel (1-3) to be used on both the camera and the receiver. Use the switch on the side of the
camera and the receiver.
2.
Make sure you choose the same channel for both the camera and the receiver. Switch on the camera by
pushing the ON/OFF button on the camera.
3.
For audio monitoring, turn the camera off using the ON/OFF button.
4.
If more than one camera is to be used, set one camera on channel 1 and the other camera on channel 2.
Switch between channel 1 and channel 2 on the receiver to view one camera or the other one. Note that in this
mode the auto-scanning feature will not be available.
8. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. There are no user-serviceable parts.
2. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to cleaning activities.
3. Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth or a brush. Do not use carboxylic cleaning agents or petrol, alcohol or
similar. These attack the device’s surface.
4. Do not use any sharp tools, screwdrivers, metal brushes or similar.
5. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
9. Troubleshooting
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
No image and no
sound
•
The camera or the monitor is not supplied with power.
•
Power not plugged in correctly or empty batteries.
•
The distance between the camera and receiver is too large.
•
Camera and receiver are not set at the same channel.
The image / sound is
distorted
•
The system’s range was exceeded. Reduce the distance.
•
There is a strong interference source nearby, e.g. electric engine, walkie-talkie, etc.
•
The distance between the camera and the receiver is too short. Enlarge the distance.
•
The supply voltage is too low. Change the batteries.
Flickering / running
image
•
Strong spotlight in the cover range of the camera. Adjust the vertical hold.
The image is too
bright or too dark
•
The monitoring range of the camera is not lit properly.
•
The surveillance monitor is wrongly adjusted. Re-adjust the contrast and brightness.
•
Strong spotlight in the cover range of the camera.
White image on the
monitor
•
The supplied voltage is too low. Change the batteries or power pack.
•
The surveillance monitor is not correctly adjusted. Adjust with brightness switch.
