WS8710N 4 VELLEMAN®
The sampling rate is once every hour. The tendency arrow points upwards with a temperature rise of > 1°C or
downwards with a temperature drop of > 1°C. Indoor temperature range: 0°C ~ 50°C +/- 2°C (32°F ~ 122°F +/-
4°F); outdoor temperature range: -20°C ~ 70°C +/- 2°C (-4°F ~ 158°F +/- 4°F); humidity range: 20% ~ 90%.
Toggle between the °C/°F display modes with the button; toggle between the minimum and maximum temperature
measurements with the MAX/MIN button; clear the minimum and maximum temperature records by holding the
MAX/MIN button pressed. Hold the CHANNEL button pressed to clear the temperature and humidity records.
Hold the CHANNEL button pressed for 3 seconds to retrieve the outdoor temperature.
Air Pressure and Weather Report
This weather station displays the air pressure (in hPa or in inHg selectable with the button) and a weather forecast
through five symbols (sunny, slightly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, cloudburst). The station also records the air pressure over
a period of 12 hours.
Temperature Alarm
First choose the channel with the CHANNEL button at the back. Next, hold the ALERT button at the back pressed to
enter the temperature alarm mode. Set the maximum temperature alarm ( ) with the and buttons at the back
and confirm by pressing the ALERT button. Now, set minimum temperature alarm ( ) with the and buttons at
the back and confirm by pressing the ALERT button. Press the ALERT button to switch the temperature alarm on ( )
or off. The station will sound when the set temperature has been reached. Press any button to stop the alarm or press
the ALERT button to switch off the temperature alarm mode.
