PSSMV2 - Compact switching power supply 15W with selectable output
1. Introduction
This is a 1000mA high-quality regulated AC/DC adapter. The PSSMV2 uses a supply voltage of
90-240V (50/60Hz) and operates with the following output voltages : 3V, 4.5V, 6V, 9V and 12V.
You can use it for keyboards, walkmans, calculators, answering machines, etc. The device is
protected against short circuits and has a constant output current and voltage. The PSSMV2 is
light, compact and durable.
2. Use
1. Read the required output voltage from the plaque with technical specifications on the device
and put the selector in the appropriate position.
2. Several plugs can be mounted on the adapter cable. Select the correct plug for the device
you want to power.
3. Check the polarity before mounting the plug on the cable. Read the markings on the plug
(see below for two standard markings)).
Polarity reversal may cause permanent damage!
4. Connect the plug with the power jack of the device, insert the adapter in a mains outlet and
activate the device. If the device doesn't work : unplug the adapter immediately and reread
the instructions.
3. Caution
1. For indoor use only, not compatible with AM radios.
2. The housing will heat up when the device is used for long periods.
3. Do not change the output voltage while the device is working to prevent damage to the
connected device.
