ith the serial number, you can access the delivery data of the
instrument via www.vega.com, "VEGA Tools" and "serial number
search". In addition to the type label outside, you can also find the
serial number on the inside of the instrument.

.2 Principle of operation
VEGAFLEX
61
is a level sensor with cable or rod probe for continuous
level measurement.
I
t is designed for industrial use in all areas of process technology and
can be used equally well in liquids or solids.
H
igh frequency microwave pulses are guided along a steel rope or a
rod. Upon reaching the product surface, the microwave pulses are
reflected. The running time is evaluated by the instrument and
outputted as distance.

our-wire electronics with separate power supply.

he supply voltage range can differ depending on the instrument
version.
T
he data for power supply are specified in chapter "Technical data".
M
easured value transmission is carried out via the 4 … 20 mA/HART
output separate from power supply.

he background lighting of the indicating and adjustment module is
powered by the sensor. A certain level of operating voltage is required
for this. You can find the exact voltage specifications in chapter
"T
echnical data".
