hen loading on site, first of all the order data must be downloaded
from the Internet (see operating instructions manual "Oscillator").
T he electronics modules are adapted to the respective sensor and
distinguish also in the signal output or power supply.
O scillator PS-E.60KH is suitable for K band VEGAPULS 61, 62, 63 -
4 … 20 mA/HART. The following versions are available which differ in
the approvals:
l PS-E.60KHX (X =
without approvals)
l PS-E.60KHA (A = approvals CA, DA, EA according to product list)
l PS-E.60KHD (D = approvals KX, KF according to product list)
l PS-E.60KHE (E = approvals CX, DX, CK, CI, DM, XM, CM, DI, EX,
GI, GX, UX, UF according to product list)
8.4 Software update
T he following components are required to update the sensor software:

l VEGACONNECT
l PC with PACTware
l C urrent sensor software as file
A t "www.vega.com/downloads" go to "Software". Select under "plics
instruments and sensors" the suitable instrument series. Load the zip
fi
le via the right mouse key with "Save target as" e.g. on the desktop of
your PC. Extract all files available in the zip file, e.g. to the desktop.
C onnect the sensor to power supply and provide connection from PC
to the instrument via VEGACONNECT. Start PACTware and provide
connection to the sensor, e.g. via the VEGA project assistant. Close
the parameter window of the sensor, as far as open.

o in the PACTware menu bar to "Instrument data", "Additional
functions" and "Update instrument software".
PACT ware checks now the actual hardware and software version of
the sensor and displays the data. This procedure lasts approx. 60 s.
P ush the button " Update software" and select the previously
extracted hex file. Then the software update can be started. Further
fi
les are installed automatically. Depending on the sensor, this
procedure lasts approximately 1 h.
