In addition to the type label outside, you can also find the serial num-
ber on the inside of the instrument.
3.2 Principle of operation
VEGACAL 65 is a level sensor with partly insulated probe for continu-
ous level measurement.
The electronics functions according to the admittance principle
(phase-selective admittance processing).
It is designed for industrial use in all areas of process technology and
can be applied in all areas of industrial process measurement.
Partly insulated probes such as VEGACAL 65 are preferably used in
non-conductive liquids such as e. g. oil or non-conductive solids.
Probe, measured product and vessel wall form an electrical capacitor.
The capacitance is influenced by three main factors.
