3.1 Wiring instruction

The following wiring plan and the extension examples
1 and 2 are valid for standard as well as for Ex-ver-
sions of the signal conditioning instruments. Please

note the following instructions:
-

the relay contact is shown in unpressurized
condition

-

if strong electromagnetic interferences are ex-
pected, we recommend to use screened cable for

the signal lines

-

the screening must only be earthed at one sensor
side

-

in case of overvoltages we recommend the use of
VEGA-overvoltage arresters

-

the connection must be made according to the
appropriate national installation standards (e.g. in
Germany according to VDE-regulations).
