4 Setting of parameters of VEGASCAN 850
VEGASCAN 850 offers the possibility to enquire or modify various parameters (measurement
loop-related).
The following list gives an overview of the parameters involved:
Parameter name possible access mode
Integration time reading writing
Scaling (0 %) reading writing
Scaling (100 %) reading writing
The enquiry or modification of parameters via the bus is always done according to the same
procedure. Each enquiry starts with identifier "?“, followed by "R“ for Read or "W“ for Write as
well as the identifier for the parameter. The telegrams are completed by the addresses of
VEGASCAN and the component number, as well as by the value to be written.
If an order was successfully transferred to a connected instrument, the value or the informa-
tion about the activity is reported.
