AQUANOL® 600
Premium High Speed Alcohol Replacer
Description: A cost effective, concentrated alcohol replacer for use on high speed web and
sheetfed presses. It contains highly active wetting agents for reducing the surface
tension of the press ready solution. AQUANOL 600 is compatible with all types of
fountain solutions, fountain additives, plates and substrates. Depending upon
conditions, AQUANOL 600 can reduce or eliminate the use of alcohol while
maintaining high quality standards.
Directions for Use: Mix 1 to 4 ounces/gallon of AQUANOL 600 into the press ready mix. Normal starting
dosage is 2 ounces per gallon. To decrease water setting or reduce lead edge toning,
increase dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. If ink emulsification or roller stripping occurs
decrease dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. For excellent results, use with an RBP AQUA
SERIES fountain concentrate. Contact an RBP technical representative for
recommendations.
